The Eventuri S58 CARBON INTAKE SYSTEM for the BMW F40 F39 F44 is an essential item for any mod list.

The X3M/X4M intake setup from BMW although awkward at first sight, is a very well designed system in the given space available. The flow path from the filters to the turbo inlets is very direct and does not change direction as abruptly as the usual OEM airbox designs. So instead of a complete redesign, they focused on improving the OEM airbox with the less restrictive flow and improved temperature efficiency.

Eventuri has developed replacement drop-in filters made from non-woven mesh which have a much higher flow rate as compared to the stock paper filters. To help reduce inlet air temperatures and force air into the airbox we designed large front scoops which sit behind the grills. The carbon scoops to channel air into the ducts and effectively derestrict the inlet side of the airbox. The final piece is the carbon airbox lid which although doesn’t add to the performance, does allow for a more audible induction sound and gives the engine bay a much needed aesthetic improvement.
