New Suehiro #8000 grit Japanese Whetstone or Waterstone. ‘Ohka’ is considered the highest grade stone that they make. The smoother texture of the 8000 grit is perfect for as the final stage in getting a razor sharp hone on your Tool or Knife.
With its larger size the Suehiro whetstone makes sharpening easy. The base has two large feet made of rubber so it doesn’t move while sharpening.
